A Note on Milk Shakes

The Teenager just made a chocolate milkshake for me with ICE!! Lots of ICE!! I didn't want to tell her that you don't put ice in it because she was so excited to make it for me, but it is really bad and I'm going to have to choke it down so she doesn't feel bad.

maybe she thinks she was making you a smoothy. They do have chocloate banana smoothies. Either way, next time say LETS make a shake and you can do it together and you can show her the proper way.

I hope choking down a chocolate shake is the biggest problem you ever have with your teen!

Back when I was young my sister and I decided to make my parents breakfast in bed (they aren't members) and we got out the ground up coffee, but didn't know a thing about filters so we just dumped a bunch of it into hot water in the mugs...I know they bought good coffee and we didn't have a lot of money and I'm sure we wasted quite a bit trying to make it look black...but they were very appriciative even though I'm sure they felt a lot like you! You have a very thoughtful teenager!

You are a very good Dad! I don't think I have to worry about my kids cooking anything for me. They won't even get a glass of milk for themselves!

K, it is so fun to listen to your parent experiences, it reminds me of all of the times I was personally conflicted when I viewed your projects, or watched you play ball, or your hesitancy to go on a date, and I wanted to tell you every thing to do. But no, I swallowed my advice tips and let you think you were so good, and that every thing you touched was golden. I must have done a good acting job, because you still think you are the smartest, wisest, and think you are an expert at everything. Go "Figure"

I am sure it was better than the flat, baking soda flavored biscuits that went with our otherwise wonderful dinner. I at one thanks to the joy of gravy....

Just feel honoured that you have a teenager who thinks about others and not just herself. Maybe she likes ice in her shakes. BTW, Michele sent me in a roundabout way LOL
